Ballroom and Latin dance program for children and teens at Ottawa Dance Sport Studio consists of beginner, intermediate and advanced level group classes and private lessons. Children and teens learn the Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive in the Latin classes. They learn the Waltz, Tango, Vienese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep in the Ballroom classes.

Fall 2010 Semester Group Lessons: September 6th - December 20th
1 hr/week - $201 HST included
2 hrs/week - $402 HST included

Beginners ages 6 to 8 - Tuesdays 5:00 pm

Beginners ages 9 to 12 - Thursdays 6:00 pm

Beginners Teens - Thursdays 5:00 pm

Intermediate Kids/Teens - Mondays 6:00 pm & 7:00 pm

Private lessons are recommended for children and teens entering into the competitive field of ballroom and latin dancing in addition to the weekly group lessons. Private lessons are also recommended for children who work better in a non-group environment. As it is a one-on-one or a two-on-one session, thorough attention is paid to the single student or the couple. Private lessons are very effective in the student's growth as a dancer.
