A private lesson is a 1 hour session between a teacher and a single student or a couple. This session can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for both parties; the chosen time slot can then be kept or changed weekly. Private lessons are recommended for those who wish to speed up their learning process, those who find it difficult to commit to a particular time slot during the week, or those who prefer to learn in a more intimate, non-group environment. Private lessons are recommended for couples wishing to prepare their first wedding dance.

A semi-private lesson is also a 1 hour session. This lesson consists of a teacher and a group of friends who have organized to take lessons together as a group. This session can be scheduled at any time slot that is convenient for the group.
Semi-private lesson fees are the following:

4 students - $70 ($17.50/person)
5 students - $75 ($15/person)
6 students - $85 (14.16/person)
7 students - $90 (12.86/person)
8 students - $100 (12.50/person)
