Ludmilla Sekret began ballroom dancing at the age of 8 in Riga, Latvia. With true passion for dance sport and under strict Russian instruction, Ludmilla quickly became one of the best dancers in her age category in the country. In 1996, Ludmilla came to Canada and proceeded her training with teachers in Montreal, making the commute from Ottawa once and sometimes twice per week. In 2005, Ludmilla moved to New Jersey to train with one of the world's best dancers and teachers. Ilya Maletin began ballroom dancing at the age of 7 in Ekaterenburg, Russia. Ilya spent a lot of his dance career in Russia training with some of the best teachers international ballroom dancing has to offer. Ilya came to Canada in March 2008 and has been teaching at Ottawa Dance Sport Studio ever since. Under his instruction are some of Ottawa's best ballroom dancers.
Ilya and Ludmilla are travelling to Los Angeles and New York every second month to continually improve and update their skills as professional dancers and teachers. They are also competing at the professional level in competitions all over Canada and the world. Some of their titles together include:

Michael 'Misha' Radko has come to Ottawa Dance Sport Studio from Kharkiv, Ukraine in October 2009. On top of his extensive experience in teaching ballroom dancing to both adults and children, Michael holds a master's degree from the Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture in physical education and dance sport.
Tito T. Montano is the studio's most experienced teacher. Wedding dance choreography and American style ballroom and latin is Tito's specialty. At Ottawa Dance Sport Studio, Tito has created some of the most beautiful wedding dances for Ottawa's newlyweds. Tito is also one of Ottawa's best known and highly regarded salsa teachers.
Marina Martinenko is a certified Ballroom and Latin dance teacher under the international Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Her goals are to continue her training professionally in both the American and International styles of Ballroom & Latin and to obtain the best knowledge possible to pass onto her students. She is passionate about dancing as she is about teaching and hopes to bring quality and more awareness to Ballroom dancing in Ottawa.
