Ballroom and latin dance program for children and teens at Ottawa Dance Sport Studio consists of beginner, intermediate and advanced level group classes and private lessons. Children and teens learn the Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive in the Latin classes. They learn the Waltz, Tango, Vienese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep in the Ballroom classes.

Intermediate Latin Kids/Teens - Mondays 6:00 pm
Beginners Latin Ballroom ages 5 to 8 - Thursdays 6:00 pm
Beginners Latin Ballroom ages 9 to 12 - Thursdays 6:00 pm
Beginners Ballroom - Fridays 6:00 pm
Private lessons are recommended for children and teens entering into the competitive field of ballroom and latin dancing in addition to the weekly group lessons. Private lessons are also recommended for children who work better in a non-group environment. As it is a one-on-one or a two-on-one session, thorough attention is paid to the single student or the couple. Private lessons are very effective in the student's growth as a dancer.
