Beginners are welcome! We teach technique in easy figures where it can be understood, so it can be applied later in advanced steps. Registration and payment is done in 10-week time slots. Pick any week to start, or drop in on a class for $22.

Our Beginner Ballroom & Latin Program is designed for complete beginners. You don’t need any experience, or natural talent to join this session.
We recommend you begin with the Beginner Latin Program (this class runs at a slightly faster pace), or the Intermediate Latin Program, or the Latin Technique Program.
Wear comfortable clothes that allow for mobility.
For women, heels are not required. Shoes should be flexible, and should form well against the foot. Beware – regular heels are very different from dance heels! Make sure you can move in the shoes you pick.
For men, any comfortable shoes work. Avoid wearing shoes with a black rubber sole, as it sticks to hardwood floor.
Each lesson is 45 minutes long.
You don’t need a dance partner to join any of our classes. If you have a partner, then definitely bring them to class!
The Beginner Ballroom & Latin Program tends to be more popular with couples. The rest of our programs attract more single dancers.
Every program has one class per week. Some of our students sign up for 4 or more programs, and trade their gym memberships for dance classes. Dancing is a great way to stay in shape!
